Europe 2025, but on a budget? Got you!

End of the school year is just around the corner, and everyone is counting down the hours, minutes, seconds, until that bell rings, and school’s out for summer! The summer is the time of the year for families to finally hit that vacation everyone has been planning for months and waiting for, but what people have not been expecting is the cost of all of this planning. Flights, hotels, activities, and all the extra essentials come with a hefty price, a price many families find hard to pay for. But never fear, your “accommodating helpful travel agent that is also super cute and awesome” is hear to help, and I have many ways for you to go on that fancy European excursion this summer, whether it is a romantic trip with your significant other, vacation that the entire family will enjoy, or a cute girls trip that is a DESPERATE need of some fun and sun, welcome to Helene’s World!!

Now I know what you all are probably thinking, how could you make Europe fun, fancy, but also affordable? Well, it is all about how you plan your trip. If you want to go to Europe during the summer months, like July or August, then you probably should have been planning this trip a while ago, at least six months ago, when flights are just coming out and deals are popping up all over the place. Flights can be very tricky, especially when all the extra fees come in for checked bags and overweight bags. Having an idea of when to book will definitely save some extra money in your pocket!

For hotels, my best advice is to stay in either an Airbnb, or Vrbo property, this way you can have your own space and property to use, without the extra prices of restaurants and unnecessary fees of things you probably won’t be using. Just make sure the place you are staying is a legitimate place, and make sure once you get there to look around for any things that might be suspicious. Contact the homeowner before walking in for the first time to make sure the person is real and not a scam. While home rentals can be nice and peaceful, it can also be a hassle at the same time, and that is why some people prefer hotels and resorts, knowing they are staying at a safe place. To save money at resorts, Hotel Trivago has great deals at Top Resorts that can make you feel safe, without spending thousands per night. Always remember when booking that you can get your money back at least a few days before your arrival date, in case something comes up you can either book a new date, or get your money back.

On every trip, people want to remember what they did, the things they saw, food they ate, people they met. Europe has probably the most beautiful and scenic architecture and sights in all of the world. Sightseeing is one of the best ways to travel the world, and not spend a penny! Monuments like Big Ben in London, the Leaning Tower of Pisa in Pisa, Italy, and the Eiffel Tower in Paris are just some of the beautiful and great examples of sights that are a MUST see in Europe! Now, if you want to go for a tour of the monument, and walk inside, you will be spending some money, but just walking past it will charge your card nothing!

It is very important to plan ahead for trips, and not just to go to Europe, but just anywhere. It helps your planning skills for other future events, saves you money, and most importantly, gives you something to look forward to!
